SAS/ACCESS® Interface to IMS-DL/I programs that contain references to IO PCBs in support of CHKP calls fail with the following error if the IMS PSB is generated using IMS v12.

FUNC CHKP ONLY VALID WITH A IO PCB IN A DLI OS REGION

*** IMS DLI CALL ERROR *** STATUS= SE

The workaround is to use PSBs assembled with earlier versions of IMS, consider v11 or earlier, as they execute properly with IMS v12.

Note the IMS v12 PSBGEN macro has changed and produces a larger PSB. Details on the change are available from IBM at the following location:
